City of Oglesby modifies their electrical service rates

 
 
OGLESBY – The city of Oglesby is modifying its electrical service rates and charges. According to officials, the amendment reduces all charges and rates for general or commercial service by 15%. In addition, the annual costs and rate update that starts in June will be permanently changed to the first of the year which gives residents and businesses a bit of a break during the summer. Officials say residents got hit hard with summertime usage and this amendment removes the need to expand the cost during that time.
