OTTAWA – Ottawa’s City Council is allowing all bodies under the city’s government to meet virtually if they choose. After a request from the Ottawa Visitors Center Board to meet virtually, Mayor Dan Aussem granted all commissions and boards permission.
Meetings will still be available to the public on the web. The mayoral determination is in compliance with Governor J.B. Pritzker’s recent Disaster Proclamation regarding coronavirus in the state of Illinois.
