Streator Fire Dept. gets equipment upgrades

STREATOR – Streator’s Fire Department will be purchasing a self-contained breathing apparatus, through grant funds received last year. In September, the Illinois Department of Homeland Security awarded Streator’s Fire Department with just over $143,600 for 20 breathing apparatuses including spare air bottles and a rapid intervention kit for a down firefighter.
