Temporary increase of WIC benefits coming to Illinois

OTTAWA – The WIC supplemental food program will be getting a temporary increase in benefits for those enrolled thanks to the American Rescue Plan. The Cash Value Benefits for the purchase of fruits and vegetables have been raised from around $11 to $35 per child and adult per month through the end of September.
