Two LaSalle County residents die of COVID-19 complications

 
OTTAWA – Two people were the latest to have died of COVID-19 according to the LaSalle County Health Department’s weekly COVID-19 update. The individuals are a male in his 70’s and a female in her 80’s. The health department is also reporting 199 new COVID-19 infections, up from around 150 cases last week. The coronavirus cases range from residents in their teens to 80-years-old. Effective August 30th per Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines, all residents are required to wear masks indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
